Croatia’s largest university is the University of Zagreb with over 75,000 enrolled students - making it the largest university in the region of South-Eastern Europe. The University of Zagreb is also the oldest university in the region (founded in 1669).

Entry Requirements:

For Bachelor:

At least 12 years study has to be completed. Study gap maximum 3 years is accepted. HSC result must not be below CGPA 3.5.

For Masters:

At least bachelor (Hons., BSc, BBA, BA) passed. 3 years degree pass is also accepted. Any partial result doesn't carry extra value to get admission. Work experience is not required but may carry extra credential to get admission in University.

Language Proficiency:

Admission to all private and public universities requires recognized English proficiency certificates i.e. IELTS, TOEFL etc.

File Opening Charge:

No file opening fees we charge but students must do all the verification in several steps according to the embassy's requirements.

Tuition Fees:

The range of tuition fees for international undergraduate students varies depending on the higher education institution and field of study. Tuition fees for undergraduate degree programmes in the humanities and social sciences can range from 6,000 Kuna (approximately 800 EUR) to 16,500 Kuna (approximately 2,200 EUR) per year, tuition fees for technical sciences are approximately 22,000 Kuna (approximately 3,000 EUR) per year and tuition fees for sciences and medical study are around 27,000 Kuna per year (approximately 3,600 EUR).

Economic Support to be proven:

Tuition fees for graduate and postgraduate programmes should be obtained by request directly from higher education institutions since they vary significantly.

Required Documents for Admission & VISA:

  • **    Educational qualifications (type of completed education)
  • **    Achievements from previous education (grades obtained), as well as State Matura exams for undergraduate study
  • **    Results of additional entrance classification exams, if requested by higher education institution
  • **    Special knowledge, skills or abilities, if requested by higher education institution.
